SMS Terms and Conditions

By opting in to receive SMS messages from My Empowering Impact, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Consent for SMS Communication
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS text messages from My Empowering Impact regarding your behavioral health services.
Phone numbers collected during the SMS consent process and SMS consent records will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to communicate with you regarding the services you receive.
Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of receiving services.
2. Types of SMS Communications
By opting in, you may receive SMS messages related to customer care, including:
Appointment reminders and confirmations
Appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
Care coordination and follow-up communications
Billing and insurance notifications
Program enrollment and service updates
Office closures or service interruptions
Wellness check-ins
Crisis resource information, when appropriate

"Reminder from My Empowering Impact: You have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 PM. Reply C to confirm or call us to reschedule."
"Your appointment has been rescheduled. Please contact our office if you have any questions."
"Our office will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday."
"If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, call or text 988. If this is a medical emergency, call 911 immediately."
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary depending on the type of communication, your appointments, and the services you receive. Clients may receive several messages per month as needed for care coordination and customer support.
4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging
Standard message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier's pricing plan. Charges may vary for domestic and international messaging.
5. Opt-In Methods
My Empowering Impact obtains SMS consent through one or more of the following methods:
Verbal consent obtained and documented by authorized staff.
Signed intake, registration, or consent forms.
Online forms that include an SMS consent checkbox.
By obtaining consent, we ensure clients are aware of and agree to receive SMS communications regarding their services in accordance with applicable privacy and communication requirements.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no additional SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

7. Help
If you need assistance, reply HELP to any SMS message or contact My Empowering Impact at 443-379-4545 during normal business hours.
SMS messaging is not monitored continuously. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. If you are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, call or text 988 for immediate assistance.
8. Additional Options
Receiving SMS messages is optional. If you do not wish to receive SMS communications, you may decline SMS consent during registration or notify our office at any time.
